Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job position is to manage and lead certain accounting services functions, such as Accounts Payable, to assist with the processing and analysis of transactions that will ensure the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, supervising a team of coordinators and/or accountants, and other responsibilities as assigned.
As Accounting Services Manager, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures proper accounting for certain areas of the company’s financial statements in accordance with GAAP, specifically Accounts Payable and Accrued Expenses
Works closely with company management to compile, analyze transactions for both financial reporting but also expense and cash management.
Supervises and leads a team of coordinators and/ or accountants.
Monitor and enforce company policies and guidelines as they relate to payment of invoices, expense reports and check requests.
Assist with analysis and processing of large electronic data files from vendors.
Analyzes the accounting and accounts payable process work flows and implements process improvement initiatives as needed.
Assists with the coordination of annual audits.
Mentor and train coordinators and/ or accountants on efficiencies in overall processing and workflow management.

Perform all other duties, as assigned.
• Must have a Bachelors degree in accounting.
• Should have at least (4) years of professional accounting experience preferably in a management capacity.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
