Consulate Health Care is sponsoring the class fees for student candidates looking for an opportunity to become a Nurse Aide who will provide superior care to our residents in our Long Term Care Nursing Facilities.

We are accepting applications and scheduling interviews .

Lakeside Oaks Care Center is currently offering to fully sponsor a CNA Ttaining Class for eligible candidates who will work at our Skilled Nursing Facility for a minimal of 1 year, with the completion of a 2 week CNA training you will be required to take the nursing assistant competency written examination, and skills test.

Day Shift(7a-3p), Evening Shift(3p-11p), and Night Shift(11p-7a) employment will be available.

We are looking for compassionate employees with ability to talk with and listen to patients/ residents. These people are often sick, scared, in pain, confused, sad, lonely and experiencing very stressful situations. A listening ear and a hand to hold can often make a world of difference in someone’s day and life!

This is a physically demanding job. The principles and techniques will prepare students to enter the workforce. Speed and organization will come with orientation and mentorship at one of our Lakeside Oaks Care Center facility.Consulate Health Care will pay the cost of your class fees and examination.

Successful completion of this course prepares you take the Florida Nurse Aide Competency Exam and enroll in the nurse aide registry for Florida.

Pre-qualifications completed at our Consulate Health Care locations

  • Must be 18 years old

  • High School Diploma, or it's equivalent

  • Completed Application

  • Essay

  • PPD Test (Two-Step Tuberculin Test): Must be administered and results read within one year of the start of the class.

  • Identification (ID): You must bring two forms of identification

  • Background Screening

  • Purchase all-white uniforms or white scrubs, white shoes and socks, a watch with a secondhand, notebook, a pen and pencil and a highlighter.

Training will include: The basic understanding and patient care skills to work in acute care or long-term care settings. The program covers classroom and skills experiences in a supportive learning environment with an emphasis on adult/geriatric care. This is a physically demanding job. CNA Duties Include:

  • Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.

  • Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.

  • Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food / fluid intake.

  • Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements.

  • Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy.

  • Transporting Residents within the Facility.

  • Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
