Vice President of Finance
As the Vice President of Finance, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. You will direct the company’s information management strategic and tactical planning, budgeting and business processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Serving as a member of executive leadership team
Participation in key decision pertaining to strategic initiatives and operation executions.
Must have ability to develop short-medium- and long-term financial plans and projections.
Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make financial recommendations.
Represents the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors and auditors.
Assist in establishing yearly financial objectives and selecting and engaging outside consultants, auditors and investment advisors.
Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management.
Remain up to date on long term care audit best practices and state and federal law regarding LTC operations.
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed, cash, investment and asset management.
Education and Experience Requirements
Ideal Candidates will possess BA or BS in Computer Science or Business Administration, Masters Degree preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years executive leadership managing and/or directing IT operations. Three (3) years working in the health care industry preferred. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
Ideal Candidates will have substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsources systems, including ERP, EMR, Cloud Computing, Data Security. Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially MS Excel and Word. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation. Attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Occasional travel may be required.
